Whereas from 2001 to 2008 I was hospitalized at a rate of almost once per year, from 2008 to 2013, I was hospitalized only once every three years. I was hospitalized in 2013 in the context of my separation and divorce. Based on my earlier trajectory, this meant that about four hospitalizations were avoided.
