But I am still confused by what happened with the teen train track suicides in Palo Alto—first in 2009-2010, again in 2013-14, and yet again in 2015-16. The spate of adolescent suicides-by-train during those years was so puzzling at the time that researchers at Stanford and across the country set right in to work.
