Originally intended to highlight risk factors, ACE scores are now used by clinicians to diagnose individuals, despite overlooking resilience and individual variations in response to adversity.

I kept pushing, and frankly, trying to educate a bit, too. I pushed and tried to educate again. Jen: “In order to more safely cope with what is going on in a way that does not cause you harm.” Gretchen wasn’t amused.
